VIBRATION MONITORING SYSTEM

  IRD7400 is a Loop Powered Vibration Transmitter. It provides 4-20 mA output to PLC/DCS and is loop powered by the PLC/DCS. It can accept a variety of inputs (factory set) such as from an Accelerometer, Inductive Velocity Sensor or a Piezo Velocity Sensor. It also provides buffered time waveform output via BNC at its front. A Digital Pan

Its modular design and wide measurement capability make it suitable for both machinery protection and detailed diagnostics in demand

The IRD8800 Series is an API 670 compliant rack-based vibration and condition monitoring system designed for the protection of critical rotating assets such as turbines, compressors, pumps, motors, and fans. Its modular design and wide measurement capability make it suitable for both machinery protection and detailed diagnostics in demanding industrial environments.

  • Rack-Based Modular Architecture
     
    • 5U height, available from 1–8 slots.
       
    • Hot-swappable API 670-compliant modules with redundant power supply capability (AC or DC).
       
  • Comprehensive Parameter Coverage
    Dedicated modules for:
     
    • Relative Shaft Vibration (eddy current probes) – detects rotor unbalance, misalignment, rubs.
       
    • Absolute Vibration (case-mounted accelerometers/velocity sensors) – monitors bearing housing and casing movement.
       
    • Axial Shift – tracks thrust position to protect thrust bearings.
       
    • Differential Expansion – prevents rotor-to-casing contact during thermal transients.
       
    • Eccentricity, High-Frequency Bearing Defects, End Winding Vibration, Shell Expansion, Speed, Reverse Rotation, Temperature – enabling complete supervisory instrumentation for large machines.
       
  • User-Programmable from Front Panel
    No PC required – operators can set full-scale ranges, sensitivity, alarm/trip limits, band-pass filters, and units directly via keypad.
     

Data, Display & Communication

  • Displays: Dual 100-segment bar graph and alphanumeric digital readout showing instantaneous values, alarm/trip setpoints, and percentage-of-range for easy status interpretation.

    • 4–20 mA isolated signals to DCS
       
    • MODBUS RTU/TCP-IP for plant automation
       
    • Buffered time waveform (BNC) for vibration analyzers and multi-channel diagnostics systems

  • Available in Aluminium Die Cast
