The LSVR is a vibrating rod point level switch designed for solids and powders. It is widely used across industries such as cement, PVC, coal, steel, food grains, fly ash, and chemicals. The device is a single-element, mechanically tuned sensor that provides reliable level detection without requiring calibration.

The LSVR is a vibrating rod point level switch designed for solids and powders. It is widely used across industries such as cement, PVC, coal, steel, food grains, fly ash, and chemicals. The device is a single-element, mechanically tuned sensor that provides reliable level detection without requiring calibration.

Operating Principle

  • A piezoelectric crystal excites the vibrating rod at its natural resonance.
     
  • In free air, the rod vibrates at full amplitude.
     
  • When in contact with bulk material, resonance is disturbed, causing amplitude drop.
     
  • The electronics detect this change, triggering a switching output to indicate material presence.

  • Compact size, rugged stainless-steel construction (SS304/316/316L).
     
  • Fast response: 2 sec (options: 0.8 sec, 1.5 sec).
     
  • Low power consumption: 0.5 – 0.7 VA.
     
  • Immune to material properties (dielectric, conductivity, stickiness).
     
  • Immune to external vibrations; tropicalized, potted electronics.
     
  • Mounting: Top or side, threaded, flanged, or custom connections.
     
  • Field-selectable minimum/maximum fail-safe modes.

Heartbeat Technology offers verification and monitoring functions to identify anomalies for increased safety and productivity.

The Micropilot FMR62B is suitable for free-space applications up to 80m and offers high beam focusing for vessels with many internal fittings.

The two-wire or four-wire compact transmitter can be used in applications with storage tanks, agitators, on stockpiles and conveyor belts. The envelope curve can be shown on the

 

 The Prosonic FMU44 sensor is suited for non-contact level measurement in fluids, pastes, coarse bulk material and flow measurement in open channels or at weirs. The two-wire or four-wire compact transmitter can be used in applications with storage tanks, agitators, on stockpiles and conveyor belts. The envelope curve can be shown on the on-site display for simple diagnosis. Linearization function (up to 32 points) for conversion of the measured value into any unit of length, volume or flow rate.
